What exactly is FlowLINE?
FlowLINE is a remote maintenance and remote assistance service for SMEs. Your technicians take control of your clients' machines, securely, from their own computer. All the infrastructure (relay servers, management, portal) is hosted and operated by us: you have nothing to install on the server side.
How is this different from other remote assistance solutions?
The principle is the same, but FlowLINE is billed per technician, not per supported machine, and with no commitment. An SME that supports many machines with few technicians may therefore pay less. In addition, your logo and your technicians' names are displayed on the client's machine: your service is what the client sees.
Do we need to install anything at our clients' premises?
Yes, a small client to install on each machine to be supported — exactly as with competing solutions. Installation is quick, and it can be configured for unattended access (with no one present).
Where is the data hosted?
FlowLINE infrastructure is hosted in Switzerland (Valais), subject to Swiss data protection law. Traffic between the technician and the supported machine is encrypted end to end: the relay server cannot read the content of sessions.
Can we cancel at any time?
Yes. Subscriptions come with no commitment: you can cancel whenever you want, at no cost. You keep access until the end of the billed period.
